Tsuzuru

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-03

These terms govern your use of Tsuzuru (the "app") and tsuzuru.page (the "service"). By using the app or the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

The developer grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app for personal or business purposes, subject to these terms.

2. Your data

You own the data you create in the app — the photos, the words, and their arrangement. It is stored only on your device, and unless you publish a book, the developer cannot access it.

Backing up your data is your responsibility. If it is lost through device failure, loss, uninstalling the app, or an action of the operating system, the developer cannot recover it.

3. Publishing a book

The app can publish a book as a web page. Publishing happens only when you explicitly choose to publish a specific book. Nothing is published by default.

You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to publish what you publish, including the rights of people depicted and of any copyrighted work that appears.

4. Prohibited use

The following are prohibited when using the app or the service.

The developer does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users.

Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours and removed if it breaches these terms. Publishers who repeatedly breach these terms are blocked from publishing again.

5. Reporting and removal

If there is a problem with a published book, please use the reporting page. Send us the URL and we will review it within 24 hours.

The developer may remove any publication that breaches these terms, without prior notice.

6. In-app purchase

The app offers a one-time in-app purchase. Purchase, payment, and refunds follow the terms and procedures of Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The developer cannot issue refunds directly.

If you reinstall the app under the same store account, purchased features can be restored from "Restore purchases" in the app.

The one-year publication period applies to books published after the purchase. Books published beforehand can be extended by publishing them again from the app — the URL does not change.

7. Disclaimer

The app and the service are provided as is. The developer does not warrant that they will suit your particular purpose, that they are free of defects, or that they will run without interruption.

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or the service. The same applies to loss of data.

8. Discontinuation

The developer may discontinue the app or the service, and will give advance notice where practical.

If the publishing service ends, published books will no longer be readable. Books stored on your device remain on your device.

9. Changes to these terms

The developer may change these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the app or the service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's address, as the court of first instance.
